| Uniform Requirements |
| As winter approaches, our snow day policy is as follows: If APS clsosed due to inclement weather or impassable roads, we may be closed as well. However, it is our experience that by the time our afternoon classes start, the roads are clear. On these occasions, we will have class. If in doubt, please call the ofice and we will have a message. Any classes missed for these circumstances can be made up. |
| Please help us keep out new school clean. Remember, NO food or drinks can be brought into the school. Although water bottles are encouraged, other drinks will not be allowed in the dance rooms at all. Thank you for your support in this matter. |
| We would like to remind all children who take ballet and the 3-5 year old combination classes that they need to wear the proper uniform for class (black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes). For all other classes appropriate dance wear is required. Please do not allow your child to wear baggy shirts or street clothes as it is difficult for the teacher to correct body placement in this attire, Hip-Hop classes are the exception to this requirement. Please make sure your child has the correct shoes for their class. If you have a question about this uniform requirements please see our store, "THE DANCE SHOP!" |
| Class Attendance and Re-registration Policy |
| If your child misses a class, that class must be made up. Our policy is as follows: If your child drops a class for a month they must re-register in a different class. We cannot put your child back in the same class they were in before they were dropped because our teachers try hard to keep a continuous progression throughout the year and lack of attendance of a month or more causes interruptions to this process. |
| Tuition Payments |
| Tuition payments are charged monthly with all the payments due payments received after the 10th of each month. Late payments will be strictly enforced. Tuition payments are averaged throughout the year so they stay the same each month. If you have questions regarding your payments please see someone in the office. SSD is now accepting payments with VISA or MASTERCARD. |
